How we rank
Every site we rank sells Pokémon packs, but what you get from a rip differs a lot. The biggest choice is between a pack that reveals one card from the site’s inventory (Courtyard, Arena Club, Phygitals, LastPack, MNSTR, GotYa, ClutchPacks) and a real sealed booster pack opened for you (Rip.fun). PackDraw, BOXED and PullBox mix Pokémon cards into wider mystery-box catalogs.
What do you pull at each Pokémon site?
| Site | What a Pokémon rip gives you | Odds or verification |
|---|---|---|
| Courtyard | One PSA, CGC or BGS slab, vaulted at Brink’s | Not disclosed in its terms |
| Arena Club | One graded slab from a published checklist | Per-card hit rates and a live Hit Feed |
| Phygitals | A card vaulted with PSA, Fanatics or Alt | Provably fair draws you can verify |
| Rip.fun | Raw cards from a real sealed booster pack | Video of the pack being opened |
| PackDraw | A random item, Pokémon or otherwise, from a mixed pool | Provably fair seeds, no third-party audit |
| LastPack | One raw card or graded slab, from $1 packs up | Odds by rarity before you buy, plus provably fair draws |
| MNSTR | One PSA, CGC or BGS slab in a third-party vault | Odds and value bands per pack; no provably fair check |
| ClutchPacks | One card from a published checklist, tokenized on Polygon | Tier odds and public pull statistics |
| GotYa | One PSA or CGC slab, from $15 packs up | Odds and expected value on every pack |
| BOXED | A random card from a gem-priced box | Full drop table, plus provably fair draws |
| PullBox | A random card or sealed product from a coin-priced box | Odds for every prize, plus provably fair draws |
Graded slab or sealed pack: which suits you?
A graded slab has a known grade, so its value is easier to check against recent sales and to sell back. A sealed pack gives you the feel of ripping retail product, but raw cards are harder to price until they are graded. Our guide to Pokémon vs sports mystery packs goes deeper on where the value sits.
What should you check before a Pokémon rip?
- Whether the site publishes odds, or lets you verify the draw. LastPack and PullBox do both.
- Who graded the card, since PSA, CGC and BGS slabs are easier to resell outside the site.
- The buyback rate and window, compared in our buyback rates guide.
- Whether the site’s terms allow you to use it in your state. PackDraw’s terms reportedly list the US as restricted.
- How you get money out. PullBox has no cash-out, and LastPack and MNSTR pay out in crypto only.
The table at the top is ordered for Pokémon buyers, and each site’s score is its score in our main ranking. Pack opening involves chance, so decide your budget first.
FAQ
Which sites sell Pokémon packs?
All eleven sites we rank sell Pokémon: Courtyard, Arena Club, Phygitals, LastPack, MNSTR, GotYa, ClutchPacks, BOXED, Rip.fun, PackDraw and PullBox. Rip.fun sells Pokémon only. The others also cover sports cards, other card games or other collectibles.
Which Pokémon sites open real sealed packs?
Rip.fun holds real sealed Pokémon booster packs in its warehouse and opens them for you, so you get raw cards rather than graded slabs. Courtyard and Arena Club sell packs that each reveal one graded card from their vaulted inventory.
Can I see the odds before I open a Pokémon pack?
At most sites, yes. Arena Club and ClutchPacks publish checklists with odds, LastPack and GotYa show odds on every pack, MNSTR shows odds and value bands, and BOXED and PullBox show the odds of every item in a box. Phygitals, PackDraw, LastPack, BOXED and PullBox let you verify draws after the fact, and Courtyard's terms do not disclose odds.
Are the Pokémon cards graded by PSA?
At Courtyard and MNSTR, pack cards are PSA, CGC or BGS slabs, and GotYa packs hold PSA or CGC slabs. Arena Club grades cards in house as AC slabs, and its vault also accepts third-party slabs. LastPack packs hold raw cards and graded slabs, and Rip.fun gives you raw cards, with a grading service reportedly offered.
Does any site sell 1st Edition Pokémon packs?
Sports Illustrated reported that Arena Club launched a 1st Edition Pokémon Slab Pack for the game's 30th anniversary, priced at $300. Check the site for current availability.
