Verdict
Phygitals suits crypto-comfortable collectors who want the widest category range here, from Pokémon and sports to Yu-Gi-Oh! and Riftbound, with provably fair draws they can verify themselves. The main trade-off is resale: its standard buyback rate is lower than Courtyard's or Arena Club's, and the window on standard cards is very short. Decide before you open whether you will sell back, and ask for the shipping cost before you redeem a card, since it is not published up front.
Pros
- Provably fair draws you can verify
- Three vault partners (PSA, Fanatics, Alt)
- Widest range incl. Yu-Gi-Oh! and Riftbound
- Cash out to a bank or a crypto wallet
Cons
- Lower standard buyback than Courtyard or Arena Club
- Very short buyback window on standard cards
- Shipping cost not published
- Per-card odds not published
How it works
Phygitals sells digital packs backed by physical cards held in US vaults and tokenized on the Solana blockchain. It stands out for two things: draws you can verify yourself, and the widest range of card games of any site we cover. Here is how it works, what it costs and what to watch before you buy.
How does Phygitals work?
- Open an account. You must be 18+ or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher.
- Pay. Credit or debit card, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, or a wallet balance in USDC, USDT or SOL. Cross-chain swaps are supported. PayPal is not listed.
- Open a pack. Reported tiers run from $25 to $250. There is also a “claw machine” format.
- Act on the card. Take the buyback, list it, hold it in the vault or redeem it for shipping.
What can you open on Phygitals?
Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Riftbound and Dragon Ball, plus baseball, basketball, football and soccer. It also carries figurines, wine and spirits, and comics. Each card sits in a US vault run by PSA, Fanatics or Alt, so the card you pull is a specific physical item you can redeem.
Is Phygitals provably fair?
Yes. Provably fair means you can check a draw after it happens. Phygitals commits to a server seed before you open, combines it with your client seed, and lets you verify each result. Per-card odds are not published in its FAQ, so you can confirm a draw was not changed, but not the chance of each card. Our guide on how to check a provably fair rip walks through the steps.
How does Phygitals buyback work?
Buyback is Phygitals’ offer to buy your pulled card for a share of its fair market value:
- Standard rate: 85% of fair market value, with boosted rates on some packs
- Window: 30 minutes to 7 days, depending on the card
The window is the catch. Standard cards have the shortest one, measured in minutes, while cards from sealed product and inventory cards get several days. Decide before you open whether you plan to sell back. See how the rate compares in our buyback rates guide.
How do you sell and cash out?
You can list cards on the on-chain marketplace, and since April 2026 Phygitals cards can be cross-listed on Fanatics Collect. Cash-outs go by bank transfer through a payment processor, or as USDC, USDT or SOL to an external wallet, and Phygitals pays the network fees.
What does shipping cost?
Storage is handled by the three vault partners. When you redeem a card, you pay shipping, handling, taxes and duties. Phygitals does not publish the amount, and Trustpilot reviewers have complained about high shipping costs. Ask for the total before you redeem a low-value card.
Is Phygitals legit?
- Company: Phygitals, Inc., a Delaware corporation. The idea came out of a Solana hackathon in January 2023, and the marketplace went live in March 2024.
- Funding: reportedly bootstrapped, with no outside venture funding.
- Scale: FinanceFeeds reports $250M in total volume and more than 100,000 cards tokenized.
- Partners: PSA, Fanatics and Alt vaults, a Fanatics Collect integration and a Solana Foundation feature.
- Complaints and legal: no lawsuits found. The Trustpilot profile is unclaimed and has only a handful of reviews.
Is Phygitals available in your state?
Phygitals does not name any restricted US states. Its terms block sanctioned countries, put the responsibility on you to check that using the site is legal where you live, and reserve the right to block by IP address. They are governed by Delaware law. Check your local rules before you buy.
What should you check before you buy?
- Know the buyback window for the pack you pick before you open it.
- Verify a few draws with your client seed so you know how the check works.
- Get a shipping total before you redeem, since the fee is not published.
- Set a budget first, since per-card odds are not published.
