Quick answer

GotYa (gotya.com) is a rip site for graded Pokémon and One Piece cards, run by VBR GROUP LLP, a UK partnership. Packs cost $15 to $500 and show their odds and expected value, sell-back pays 90% of GotYa's own card value, and cash-outs go to a bank. New users get a free $10 pack with no deposit, but the operator faces a proposed strike-off in the UK and its terms say vaulted cards are not insured.

Verdict

GotYa suits Pokémon and One Piece collectors who want to try a rip site for free, see the odds and expected value before every pack, and cash out to a bank rather than in crypto. The trade-offs are serious: its UK operator faces a proposed strike-off at Companies House, its own terms say vaulted cards have no dedicated insurance and wallet money is not kept separate from company funds, and the site only launched in 2026. Start with the free pack, keep your balance low, and withdraw winnings rather than leaving money in the wallet.

Pros

  • Free $10 pack with no deposit
  • Odds and expected value on every pack
  • Cash-outs to a bank account, not crypto
  • 0% marketplace seller fee
  • Money back on a first pack that pulls under its price

Cons

  • Operator faces a UK strike-off proposal
  • No dedicated insurance on vaulted cards, per its terms
  • Wallet funds mixed with company money
  • Launched in 2026, few independent reviews
  • Email-only support

How it works

GotYa, at gotya.com, sells digital packs that each allocate one real card, mostly PSA or CGC graded slabs of Pokémon and One Piece cards, from its vault. You can sell the card back, list it on its marketplace, keep it in the vault or have it shipped. It stands out for a free $10 pack with no deposit, odds and expected value on every pack, and cash-outs to a bank. It also carries the most serious company-level warning of any site we rank. Here is how it works and what to check first.

How does GotYa work?

  1. Sign up. Use email or Google, confirm you are 18+, and verify your email. The free pack also needs a phone check. You don’t need ID to start, but you do to ship cards and for some higher-value actions.
  2. Fund your wallet. Top up by card through Stripe, which may add a small surcharge shown before you confirm, or by digital wallet or bank funding, which GotYa says is fee-free. Wallet balances are in US dollars.
  3. Pick a pack. Each pack page shows value brackets with their chances and an expected value equal to the pack price.
  4. Rip. One card is drawn from the vault’s live inventory.
  5. Decide what to do with the card. Sell it back, list it on the marketplace or at auction, keep it in the vault, or ship it.

What packs does GotYa sell?

Paid packs run from $15 to $500. The lineup on September 26, 2026:

Game Packs and prices
Pokémon Rookie $15, Trainer $25, 30th Celebration $30 (limited), Elite $50, Master $100, Platinum $250, Gold $500
One Piece Trainer $25, Elite $50, Master $100
Promotional Free $10 pack for new users

The pack index has tabs for baseball, basketball, football and soccer, but no sports packs were listed when we checked. There are no Magic, Lorcana or Riftbound packs. Pack pages describe one graded card per pack, though the free pack’s pool also includes some raw cards.

What are the odds on GotYa?

Every pack page shows five or six value brackets with their chances, and an expected value equal to the pack price, worked out from the live vault inventory. On the $15 Rookie pack, for example, 47% of pulls are worth $11 to $13 and 0.2% are worth $60 to $240. Each paid pack’s lowest bracket starts at about two-thirds to three-quarters of the price, which limits the downside, but by the posted odds most pulls are worth less than you paid. The values are GotYa’s own estimates, and it names no outside price source.

The analytics site PackAnalyst, which tracks GotYa’s public pull feed, reported an average return of about 95% of the pack price across more than 365,000 pulls, and one tier on the Trainer pack landing slightly below its posted odds. Our guide to expected value in online pack openings explains how to read these numbers.

Is GotYa provably fair?

Its FAQ says it publishes a hash of a secret server seed before you buy and reveals the seed afterwards so you can check the draw. Its terms are weaker, saying only that it “may” use such a system, and we found no public verifier page or third-party audit. Our guide on how provably fair rips work explains what a real check looks like.

How does GotYa buyback work?

  • Rate: 90% of GotYa’s fair market value on graded slabs, and 100% on raw cards
  • Timing: Instant; time-limited offer
  • Paid to: your wallet balance

Fair market value is GotYa’s good-faith estimate from completed sales, listings, auctions and third-party pricing, with no named provider. Its FAQ and terms call the offer time-limited, while its free-pack page says “no deadline”, so check the timer on each card. If the offer looks low, you can list the card on its marketplace with no seller fee. Cards left untouched in the vault for 180 days can be converted to wallet credit at the buyback rate after two email notices. See how the rate compares in our buyback rates comparison.

How do you cash out from GotYa?

Withdrawals go only to a verified bank account in your own name, with a $25 minimum, and its FAQ says they are reviewed and paid in four to five business days. That makes GotYa one of the few sites here that pays out in dollars rather than crypto. Promotional credit may not be withdrawable, and some one-star Trustpilot reviews from September 2026 describe blocked withdrawals and failed ID checks, which GotYa answered publicly.

How does shipping work?

Cost or rule What GotYa says
US shipping At cost, shown before you confirm; ships in 8-10 business days
What can ship Graded slabs only; raw cards can’t be shipped
Before shipping A one-time ID check, plus a first deposit if the card came from the free pack
Vault storage Free, with no storage fee today
Marketplace 0% seller fee; auctions carry a buyer’s premium

GotYa ships worldwide, tracked, and you pay the shipping, handling and any taxes. The US shipping price is not published.

Is GotYa legit?

  • Company: VBR GROUP LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales in June 2023, with a London address. Its two members live in the Netherlands.
  • Company status: Companies House lists a proposal to strike the partnership off the register, with a notice filed on September 15, 2026 and an annual filing overdue since June 2026. This can happen when paperwork is late and may be resolved, but if the company closed, money in your wallet would be an unsecured claim against it.
  • Insurance and funds: its own terms say vaulted cards are not covered by a dedicated insurance policy for users, and wallet money is held with the company’s operating funds rather than kept separate. The homepage’s “vaulted and insured” wording conflicts with that.
  • Track record: the rip-site terms took effect on June 19, 2026. The gotya.com domain previously hosted a clothing shop and, in 2025, a Dutch collectibles shop.
  • Reviews: see the trust signals section below. We found no app, Reddit discussion or BBB profile, and no lawsuits.
  • Support: email only, at info@gotya.com, with replies in one to two business days.

Is GotYa available in your state?

GotYa’s terms list no restricted US states. They exclude sanctioned places, namely Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and let GotYa restrict other places later. The terms fall under the law of England and Wales, and GotYa claims no license. Check the rules where you live before you deposit.

What should you check before you buy?

  • Start with the free pack before you deposit anything.
  • Keep your wallet balance low, and withdraw money you don’t plan to spend, given the company’s status and how wallet funds are held.
  • Ship cards you want to keep, since the vault is not insured by a dedicated policy.
  • Check the buyback timer on each card, and compare the marketplace before you sell back.
  • Set a budget you can afford to lose. Most pulls are worth less than the pack price.

FAQ

Is GotYa legit?

GotYa is a working rip site run by VBR GROUP LLP, registered in England and Wales, and it publishes detailed terms, odds and a public history for each card. But Companies House shows a proposal to strike the company off, filed in September 2026 with an overdue annual filing, and the rip site only launched in 2026. We found no lawsuits.

Is the GotYa free pack really free?

Yes. New users can claim one free $10 pack with an invite code and no deposit, after email and phone checks. To ship the card you pull, you need to make a first deposit, and to cash out you need a balance of at least $25.

How do you cash out from GotYa?

Withdrawals go only to a verified bank account in your own name, with a $25 minimum, and are paid in four to five business days according to its FAQ. GotYa does not pay out in crypto. Promotional credit may not be withdrawable.

Are cards in the GotYa vault insured?

Not by a dedicated policy, according to its own terms, which say vaulted cards are not currently covered by insurance maintained for individual users. That conflicts with the site's "vaulted and insured" marketing, so treat the vault as uninsured and ship cards you want to keep.

Is GotYa provably fair?

Its FAQ says it publishes a hash of a secret server seed before each purchase and reveals it afterwards so you can check the draw. Its terms say only that it may use such a system, and we did not find a public verifier or a third-party audit.

What is the GotYa Guaranteed Value Pack?

Within 48 hours of signing up, if the card from your first paid pack, up to $100, is worth less than you paid by GotYa's valuation, you can return it and get the full price back as regular wallet balance. It is one per person.

Is GotYa available in the US?

Its terms list no restricted US states. They exclude only sanctioned places such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and parts of Ukraine, and let GotYa restrict other places later. Disputes fall under the law of England and Wales.
