PackDraw and PullBox are the two mystery-box sites we rank: you open a box, get a random item from its pool, and then sell it back or have it shipped. Both use provably fair draws and both start at very low prices. The main difference: PackDraw is crypto-first, pays out in crypto and covers far more than cards, but its own terms reportedly restrict the United States. PullBox is a US company focused on trading cards, with generous free rewards, but it has no way to cash out except shipping cards.

Can you use them in the US?

This is the biggest difference. PackDraw’s terms reportedly list the entire United States as a restricted country, it holds no gambling license, and it faces two pending US lawsuits. PullBox is run by CCG Labs, LLC of Delaware from Syracuse, New York, and its terms list no restricted states, though it holds no license either. Check each site’s terms and the rules where you live before you sign up.

Which is more transparent about draws?

Both are provably fair and neither has a third-party audit. PackDraw uses a client seed, server seed and nonce, and its Battles use a future EOS block. PullBox combines a server seed, client seed, salt and nonce with HMAC-SHA512 and shows the odds of every prize in every box. Learn how to check a provably fair rip, and remember it proves a draw wasn’t changed, not that a box is good value. Third-party testers measured returns below the box price at both sites.

How do you get value out?

  • PackDraw lets you exchange an item for its full listed value in site balance, then withdraw crypto, with a minimum withdrawal.
  • PullBox lets you sell a card back for its market value in site coins, but coins can’t be withdrawn. The only way out is shipping cards, and cards you leave in your inventory turn into coin vouchers after 30 to 60 days.

Our buyback rates comparison explains why a full-value exchange is not the same as getting your money back.

What can you open?

PackDraw mixes Pokémon, graded sports cards and sealed product with electronics, watches, sneakers, crypto and gift cards, and adds Battles and user-built packs. PullBox sticks to trading card games, mainly Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, One Piece and Lorcana, with Battles, tournaments, daily free boxes and coin drops. Magic players will find far more at PullBox.

How do payments and shipping compare?

Cost or option PackDraw PullBox

Cash-out Crypto, with a minimum None; cards ship only

Which should you choose?

  • Pick PullBox if you are in the US, play Magic: The Gathering or other card games, and want cards shipped to you, accepting slow shipping and no cash-out.
  • Consider PackDraw only if its terms allow you to use it where you live and you are comfortable with crypto.
  • If you want to be able to cash out in dollars, compare the other sites in our US rip site ranking.

Pack opening involves chance at both sites, so set a budget before you start.
