Courtyard and LastPack both sell digital packs that reveal one real Pokémon card you can sell back or have shipped. The main difference: Courtyard is the established choice, with graded slabs vaulted at Brink’s, a fee-free marketplace and no deadline to ship. LastPack is newer and shows you far more before you buy, with odds on every pack and draws you can verify, from a lower entry price, but it holds cards for only seven days.

Which shows you more before you buy?

LastPack. Every LastPack pack page shows six rarity bands with the chance of each and its value range, plus a volatility mode you choose, and each draw is provably fair with a public verifier. Courtyard’s terms do not disclose per-card odds, and we did not find a provably fair scheme there. Learn how to check a provably fair rip before you rely on one.

Which has the better buyback?

Compare the headline rates in the side-by-side table above. Beyond the rate:

  • Courtyard prices its offer from Card Ladder sales data and makes it instantly, but its terms call buyback a best-effort offer that is limited in duration.
  • LastPack pays its rate on its own fair market value, from an in-house system its terms say may not match published market values. The offer lasts up to seven days, and unshipped cards are then sold back automatically.

Our buyback rates comparison puts both next to the other sites.

What do you pull at each site?

Courtyard packs hold one PSA, CGC or BGS slab, and it also sells sports cards, comics, watches and coins. LastPack covers Pokémon, One Piece and Riftbound, with cards from raw singles to graded slabs, and its $500 Trophy pack holds graded slabs. LastPack’s packs start at a much lower price, which suits smaller budgets.

How do fees, cash-outs and shipping compare?

Cost or option Courtyard LastPack
Storage Free, insured at Brink’s, no deadline Up to seven days in its California warehouse
Marketplace 0% buyer and seller fees None; sell-back is the only way to sell
Cash-out USDC at standard, same-day or instant speed USDC to a Solana wallet, from sell-back money only
Shipping FedEx at cost, shown before checkout Per card at the USPS rate, shown at checkout; insurance free under $100

Which has the stronger track record?

Courtyard, by a wide margin. It was founded in 2021, raised a $30M Series A led by Forerunner in July 2025, and has thousands of app store ratings and hundreds of Trustpilot reviews. LastPack launched in July 2026, names no founders, and has no Trustpilot, app store or BBB profile yet. The trust signals on each review have the current ratings.

Which should you choose?

  • Pick Courtyard if you want graded slabs, a long track record, free vaulting with no deadline, or a marketplace to sell to other collectors.
  • Pick LastPack if you want to see the odds before you pay, verify each draw, start from a small budget, or collect One Piece or Riftbound.
  • Either way, you cash out in USDC, so plan how you will convert it to dollars.

Pack opening involves chance at both sites, so set a budget before you start.

FAQ

Is Courtyard or LastPack better for Pokémon?

It depends on what you want to see before you buy. Courtyard packs hold one PSA, CGC or BGS slab and have a much longer track record. LastPack shows the odds for every pack before you pay, starts at a lower price, and holds both raw cards and graded slabs.

Which shows the odds before you buy, Courtyard or LastPack?

LastPack. Every LastPack pack page shows the chance of each rarity band and its value range, and each draw is provably fair. Courtyard's terms do not disclose per-card odds, and we did not find a provably fair scheme there.

Which has the better buyback, Courtyard or LastPack?

LastPack's headline rate is higher, but both rates apply to each site's own card values, not to what you paid. Courtyard's offer is instant and described in its terms as best-effort and limited in duration. LastPack's lasts up to seven days, after which unshipped cards are sold back automatically.

Can you keep cards in a vault at Courtyard and LastPack?

At Courtyard, yes: cards stay insured at Brink's for free until you ship them. LastPack holds cards for up to seven days only, so you need to ship or sell each card within a week.

Do Courtyard and LastPack pay out in crypto?

Both pay out in USDC, a dollar stablecoin. Courtyard pays USDC at standard, same-day or instant speed, and LastPack pays USDC to a Solana wallet. At LastPack, only money from selling cards back can be withdrawn, not your deposits.
